Free 3-month trial

Three months of real work: bring in one departure from next season

The DBJOY trial is not a guided demo on invented data. We set the system up on your partner school rates, your own destinations and your own programmes, and for three months you use it on the work you are doing anyway. No credit card, no automatic renewal: at the end the decision is yours.

What you get

What the trial includes

Four things, stated plainly. Everything below is part of the trial; anything that is not written here, ask us and we will confirm it to you in writing.

Three months of the complete product

Not a cut-down edition and not a single module: CRM, quotes and enrolments, booking files, partner schools and accommodation, students and groups, travel documents, administration and reporting. For three months you work with the whole product, on sessions you actually have on sale.

Initial set-up on your own data

We configure partner school rates, destinations, programmes and course sessions the way you sell them. The first quote you open contains your courses, your accommodation and your net costs, not a sample catalogue. It is the only way to find out whether the system fits how you work.

Support alongside you during the trial

Through the three months you are not left alone with a manual. The first session, the first school group and the first round of travel documents are set up together with people who know the product and know the study travel trade.

Your data stays yours and stays exportable

Student and family records, quotes, enrolments and partner school terms you load during the trial remain yours and remain exportable. A system that holds your history hostage is not a supplier, it is a constraint.

How it works

How it works, in three steps

From your request to day-to-day use. No hidden step, and nothing to sign in order to begin.

  1. You send the request

You fill in the form below: type of operator, students travelling in a season, the software you use today. We come back to you to understand how you work, which programmes you sell and which steps cost you the most time.

  2. We configure DBJOY on your data

We prepare the trial environment together: partner school rates and seasonality, contracts and allotment per session, destinations, users and roles. We start from your real cases, including the school group or the session you already have on your desk.

  3. You bring in a real departure

For three months you use DBJOY in production: enrolments, family instalments, allotment per session, host family matching and rooming lists, through to the margin on the departure. At the end your verdict is not an impression, it is your own work done inside the system.

What you will be looking at

Judge it on a departure you recognise

The useful test is not a feature list. It is taking one departure you know well — a school group, an individual enrolment on a language course, a summer session — and following it from the first enquiry through to the margin, inside the system, with your own numbers on the screen.

  • A quote built once on partner school rates, with net, gross and mark-up forming as you work.
  • A confirmed quote becoming an enrolment with nothing retyped.
  • Allotment per session, options and release dates in one schedule.
  • Students, instalments per family and a rooming list on the same file.
  • Travel documents and welcome packs generated from the file rather than copied by hand.
  • The margin on that departure, while you can still act on it.

What does not happen when you ask for the trial

The questions everybody has before filling in a form, answered before you have to ask them.

No automatic commitment to buy

A trial request is not an order and not a contract. We do not ask for a credit card to activate it, and no charge arises from the trial itself.

No tacit renewal

The trial does not turn itself into a subscription. When the three months are up nothing is triggered: without your explicit confirmation there is no contract and no invoice.

At the end of three months you decide

Two clean options: you carry on with DBJOY on terms agreed in writing, or you stop. If you stop, the trial closes and you are charged nothing.

The data you enter stays yours

What you load during the trial is yours: students and families, quotes, enrolments, groups, partner school terms. It stays exportable, including in the case where you decide not to continue.

Who can see your data during the trial

The trial environment is accessed by the staff supporting you, for set-up and support only. On the data of your students and their families you remain the controller: the software provider acts as processor under Article 28 of the GDPR and works on your documented instructions.

No commercial pressure

The details you leave in the form are used to come back to you about this request. Marketing messages go out only if you give the separate consent, and you can withdraw it whenever you want.

How we protect data, who handles it and how long we keep it is written out in full: read how DBJOY protects your data and the privacy policy.

A handful of fields is enough. They tell us what kind of operator you are, so the first conversation starts with an idea of how your trial should be configured.

No credit card. No automatic renewal. Your data stays yours and stays exportable.

Frequently asked questions

What is needed to start the three-month free trial?

Starting the DBJOY free trial needs the company’s details, an internal contact who follows the set-up, and a decision on scope: which real departure to start from. It does not need a credit card or a purchase commitment. The rest is built together during the initial configuration, on the operator’s own partner school rates, destinations and programmes.

Who does the set-up work during the trial?

The initial configuration during the DBJOY trial is done together: master data, partner school rates and course sessions are set up on the operator’s real material rather than on a demonstration dataset. The operator supplies the content, because only the company knows its own school contracts. Where the boundary sits between the two sides is agreed before the trial starts.

Which data should we put into the trial?

The most useful trial runs on live work rather than test records: a real quote, a real school group with its students, real partner school costs. That is what shows whether the system holds up at enrolment, at departure and at invoicing. Starting from one departure the operator knows well gives a clearer answer than loading everything at once.

Can the trial be stopped before the three months are up?

The DBJOY free trial carries no automatic purchase commitment and no tacit renewal, so an operator that decides early can simply say so. The conditions for stopping, and what happens to the data already entered, are set out in the trial agreement, which is worth reading before the team invests real work in the system.

What happens to our data if we do not continue after the trial?

Data entered during the DBJOY trial belongs to the operator and stays exportable. Scope, format and the window in which the export is available are set out in the agreement rather than left to good will. Return or deletion of the data at the end of the relationship is part of the processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.
